Prostitute Steals Laptop for Payment
When a man refused to pay a women for sex she provided, she and her friend stole his MacBook laptop as revenge.
Offficers arrested Sauceray Boyd, 21, and Kandalaria, 19, when they found the man's computer, worth $2,800 in Freeman's suitcase. The officers quickly learned that the two were known for staying often at the Glen Capri Inn where they regularly contacted parolees and gang members. However, the man whose laptop was stolen claimed that it was taken while he was at church.
A tip from a motel worker led police to the two women, who were hanging around the Glendale Metrolink/Amtrak station. Freeman admitted to the officers that she was a dancer and prostitute in San Diego, but often stayed in Glendale at the Glen Capri Inn. It was then that she confided to officers that she had provided him with a $200 service that he later refused to pay. The man actually fled the hotel, leaving Freeman stranded without money for the train back; she had been relying on his payment for services rendered to go back to San Diego.
If you have been charged with a sex crime, it is no laughing matter.
