Father and Son Duo Caught during Robbery
Officers in Lemon Grove, California were surprised to hear that the two men responsible for breaking and entering into a home were actually a father and son.
The two entered a home around 10:15 PM last Sunday, shortly after which the suspect was able to quickly call 911. However, one of the robbers heard the call and brandished a weapon, shooting the resident multiple times.
When officers arrived they found the victim in critical condition and summoned an ambulance to transport him to a local hospital. While he was ushered in for emergency surgery in critical condition, officers were hopeful that he would not lose his life that night.
A few witnesses to the incident were smart enough to puncture the tires of the getaway vehicle, helping police locate the father and son duo. The vehicle was located just two blocks away and the suspects were taken into custody. Before booking the two men, officers brought them to the home of the suspect. Several witnesses confirmed seeing the two flee from the home in their vehicle.
