Member of Council Arrested for Domestic Violence
A member of a council in San Diego was taken into custody last week after being accused of assaulting his own wife. The suspect, a 41-year-old male, works as an aide with the council, which made his arrest that much more surprising to his colleagues.
The initial facts show that police were called to his home late August 5th for
domestic violence against his wife. Luckily, no weapons were used during the abuse. After speaking with the victim, officers transported the suspect to a county jail where he was booked on charges of vandalism and spousal battery.
