Two Robbery Suspects Caught by Local Police
Officers in Bonita and Spring Valley worked hard to arrest the two suspects believed to be responsible for several robberies that took place over the past week.
According to a police department in San Diego, California, the first two victims were robbed around 12:20 AM by a black man carrying a handgun. The man asked for money and then struck one of the victims with his pistol before jumping into a red vehicle driven by another black male. Just ten minutes later, a young woman was robbed by a man who fit the same description just a few blocks away from the first assault.
After releasing a BOLO for the two men, officers were able to track down the suspects. However, while the driver was being arrested, his accomplice ran away from the police. Although officers were not able to track the runaway suspect down by foot, a police helicopter located him hiding under a house nearby. Once the victims confirmed the identities of their attackers, officers had enough evidence to charge the two men with theft crimes.
