San Diego Police Crack Down on Warrants

Think you can evade arrest when there is a warrant out for you? Think again. Police in San Diego County are searching for people who are dodging their warrants and they mean business.

Last week, twenty nine people were arrested over a three-day period. Officers from the county sheriff's department as well as neighboring agencies worked together to search for individuals with warrants out for their arrest. Most of these warrants were for misdemeanor crimes with a few that were more serious.

In addition to the people arrested on warrants, one man was arrested incidentally for violating a temporary restraining order as well as being under the influence of drugs. Police discovered him while they were out delivering warrants across the county.
