Unlucky Robbers Caught by Police

Three would-be bank robbers were unlucky when they hit a police car during their getaway.

Officers were originally called to the Comfort Inn on Hotel Circle South around 10:30 p.m. after two men tried to rob the hotel. Although one of the men had what appeared to be a weapon wrapped in cloth, the two disappeared before they got any money.

While police were searching nearby hotel lots, a car sped out of the nearby Travel Lodge Hotel, straight into a patrol car. The men inside the vehicle were identified as the same men who attempted to earlier robbery. At this time police are not releasing their names to the public, yet they did say that their getaway car was also stolen.

Luckily nobody was injured in the crash.
