Another Hit and Run in Clairemont Mesa
Another hit-and-run accident in Clairemont Mesa last week had police looking for the person responsible. They were successful in locating the 24-year-old man and arresting him on charges of felony hit-and-run as well as
driving under the influence.
The driver crashed into a parked car and a telephone pole at the 3900 block of Armstrong Street. He fled the car and left his three passengers behind without attending to their medical needs. When emergency medical techs arrived they transported the three passengers to a nearby hospital. It is reported that their injuries were non-life threatening.
