Local Attorney Charged with Multiple Sex Crimes

A man reportedly taking pictures in a tanning booth in Escondido has been recently identified as the local attorney David Kaye.

The 37-year-old attorney was finally taken into custody after a ten-month investigation found that he had indeed secretly been filming women at a tanning salon. Officers with the sting operation were able to identify seven victims and believe that there might be additional victims that have yet to be discovered.

Kaye has been charged with 15 counts of possessing child pornography since one of the victims is alleged to be a minor. Ten other charges were also brought against him during the hearing on Jan. 12.
