Stabbing May Have Been Gang Related
Gang activity is blamed for the stabbing of a man outside of a fast-food restaurant in North County last week. Police arrested two 19-year-old men who are suspected of being involved in a local gang. Robert Cruz Ramos and Salvador Lopez Jr. were booked into the San Diego county jail downtown for the murder of 24-year-old Kenneth Mose.
According to sheriff's homicide Lt. Dennis Brugos, a passerby found Mose's body in a parking lot outside of Carl's Jr in Fallbrook. Although he was airlifted to a trauma center, he was later pronounced dead from his multiple stab wounds.
At this time Brugos was not issuing a motive for this stabbing and would not comment on the evidence collected in this case that implicated Ramos and Lopez. Instead Brugos commented that "In an effort to maintain the integrity of this investigation, specific details with respect to what led investigators to these suspects will not be addressed at this time."
Whether it was a case of nerves or regret is not clear, but the suspect returned back to the scene of the crime 90 minutes later, only to be picked up by members of the San Diego Police Department.
