Police Get Tip from "Most Wanted" Viewer
After watching a "most wanted" television show in San Diego, one viewer was able to recognize and tip off police about a woman suspected of burglary.
The suspect, Kimberly Dawn Roehr, was seen on video stealing hundreds of dollars worth of electronic goods from a Target store. After being identified, officers arrested Roehr on charges of burglary and one count of receiving stolen property.
According to police Sgt. Angela DeSarro, the burglaries happened twice in January and twice in February, prompting police to broaden their search to the weekly "most wanted" show to ask the public for help. The show is sponsored by the FBI in an effort to catch criminals that have eluded police detection.
