Strange Attack Reported in San Diego

A strange attack was reported in San Diego last weekend, when one man struck another over the head with such force, that he caused life-threatening injuries.

According to police reports, 37-year-old Joshua Larson was in a canyon below Hillcrest when he struck another man, who has yet to be identified, with a large rock. The victim was later seen stumbling onto the 1300 block of Washington Street and then flagging down a car. He appeared confused but told the driver that he had been struck with a rock. Police were able to track down Larson, who has since been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder.

Larson is now being held without bail.
