16 Year Old Accused of 71 Counts of Vandalism
Authorities detained a 16-year-old boy who has been accused of 71 counts of graffiti vandalism.
According to the police reports deputies with the San Diego County Sheriff's department went to the vandal's home early Tuesday morning to see if he was complying with his probation terms. They suspected that he had not been compliant, and their suspicions were confirmed when the discovered evidence of the crimes in his home.
Altogether the 71 acts of graffiti vandalism have cost $30,839 in damage. The suspect, whose identity has been released due to his age, has been ordered to return to court later this month and released to his parent's custody.
