Robber Leads Police to Himself
One robber basically led police to himself when he kept returning to the same places that he had robbed before.
Shawn Dustin Page, 30, was brought into custody when police located him at a nearby Jack-In-The-Box to the one that he had robbed earlier. According to San Diego police Lt. Andra Brown, Page is suspected of robbing the Wells Fargo Bank on Cleveland Avenue near University Avenue twice within a week. During the second robbery he lifted up his shirt to show a gun tucked into his waistband.
Police also suspect Page of robbing a Jack-In-The-Box around 6 p.m. on Wednesday. During that robbery he demanded that an employee give him cash, but when the employee responded by saying that there was no key to open the register, Page ran away. Police just happened to be in another Jack later that week on unrelated business when they spotted him and were able to arrest Page immediately. Video footage later confirmed that it was indeed Page.
