Two Year Investigation Leads to Numerous Arrests
Two years-worth of investigative work led to the arrest of nearly three dozen people believed to be part of a motorcycle gang crime ring.
Last Thursday 26 people were taken into custody by over 250 law enforcement officers from different agencies. Six more individuals named in the batch of warrants were already behind bars and police are still searching for two more suspects. One of the men arrested was the former president of the motorcycle gang, a 420-year-old who actually surrendered peacefully to several FBI agents.
Thanks to evidence collected by video and wiretaps, the FBI worked with local and state police agencies to capture the people in question. These individuals are suspected of engaging in various criminal activities, most of which are drug related.
