Warrant Sweep Nets 33 Arrests
Another warrant sweep was conducted in California, this time netting 33 arrests in several East County locations.
Police in San Diego, California worked with officers from a task force to clear 42 warrants last week, six of which were for felony cases. One unlucky suspect was found to have heroin on his person, which only served to aggravate his existing warrant case.
The officers have spent the past few months working overtime to clear existing warrants on file and anyone who has a warrant against them has been encouraged to turn themselves into the department.
