Sexual Offender Arrested for Indecent Exposure
Four young girls were subjected to indecent exposure by an older, drunk man last week and police officers are working hard to keep the man behind bars.
According to official police records, the 35-year-old man was standing outside a liquor store when the young girls walked by. The girls, ages 12 to 13, saw the man expose himself and then ran off screaming. Although the man disappeared shortly after, their description of the suspect was enough for police to pin sex crime charges on the man, a known sex offender. Officers quickly located the suspect and took him into custody.
In order to obtain more evidence against the man, officers were able sought a search warrant for his house. While searching the home, officers were somewhat surprised to find 58 marijuana plants growing on his property, as well as a sawed-off shotgun. The man has since been charged with failure to register as a sex offender, cultivation of marijuana plants and indecent exposure.
