Man Arrested 3 Times Over a Period of 5 Days
Police in Imperial Beach, California arrested one man not once, but three times over a period of five days. As such, it may impact the court's decision when reviewing the details of his last arrest. D.L., 44, was arrested three times for DUI earlier this month. The last time that he was arrested, police say that they were surprised that he was still out roaming the streets. He was charged on suspicion of drunken driving and is currently being held on $100,000 bail. D.L. has already appeared before a judge and entered a plea of not guilty to one of his charges.
His attorney claims that his client had been sober for a period of 2.5 years before the string of arrests occurred. Although not all of the blood work has been returned, one of his arrest reports showed him to have a blood-alcohol level of .05 or .06. This cannot be confirmed, however, until the blood work results have been finalized.
