Thirty People Arrested during Holiday DUI Crackdown
Thirty people were arrested during a DUI crackdown last weekend in California. All of the offenders were found to be driving intoxicated over the holiday weekend.
Police officers from three cities worked overtime to conduct the DUI checkpoints. A quick glance at last year's records show that this figure is higher than the six people arrested last year. Statewide drunk driving arrests increased this year in California. The only good news to come out of that latest operation was that no drunk driving fatalities were reported.
